‘Before the Music Dies’ will be shown at San Antonio movie theatre The Alamo Drafthouse on Thursday May 15, 2008. This special screening is not only for the awareness of what’s going on with music globally, but to support the San Antonio Local Music scene. The showing will start at 7:30pm which will be followed by a mixer involving many local bands from around San Antonio plus music fans. Pre-sale tickets go on sale on April 15th at www.drafthouse.com. The Alamo Drafthouse has been kind enough to reduce ticket prices to this event to $5.00, nearly half the cost of a regular ticket price. The event is closed off to the first 100 people due to maximum capacity of the theater so it’s important that you buy pre-sale tickets if you wish to reserve a seat in the theater. The University Activities Board will be hosting a special screening of BSide’s “Before the Music Dies!” The screening will take place at the Gallagher Theatre in the Student Union Memorial Center at the University of Arizona, at 9 PM on April 9th, 2008.
