The Grand County Library District promotes art and culture in this small but dynamic Colorado community. The Grand County Blues Society recently won the Colorado Association of Libraries Partnership award. The Blues Society has donated an entire CD collection to the district. They also provide our patrons with instruments to borrow. Yes, you can check out a guitar or drum just as you would your favorite book. Now, you can come check out the acclaimed Before the Music Dies documentary featuring some of the Blues Society’s favorites: North Mississippi Allstars, Les Paul, Widespread Panic – just to name a few. The Fraser Valley Library presents Before the Music Dies on Thursday, October 18th, at 6:00 pm.
