The Garage is a performance venue that features up and coming and under the radar local, regional, and national touring bands, screens films (venue for the River Run Film Festival), hosts theatre productions, etc. Many national acts have played the Garage as they were developing, particularly Americana and indie-rock acts (Drive By Truckers, Tift Merritt, Clem Snide, The Gourds, Todd Snider, Richard Buckner, The Avett Brothers, Victoria Williams, Pat Green, etc. etc.). The Garage is also the home venue for many of the most highly respected and critically acclaimed bands in North Carolina Piedmont.
During the Winter we host a regular Tuesday night film series.

We would like to host a free screening of B4MD on Thurs. Dec. 21st @ 9 PM.

Basically, we exist to help bands and filmmakers build a fan base and connect with audiences.
